Violent Semilong Northampton Robber Sentenced
Many of us will recall the violent robbery of the pregnant Semilong resident last year. The incident hit the headlines and shocked the whole community.
The victim had been to the cash point at the Co-op store on Semilong Road and had withdrawn money. Ricky McAtamney who had been laying in wait followed her from the cashpoint and for several streets before hitting the victim over the head with a bottle to steal her handbag containing the £100 she had just withdrawn..

Operation Guardian
Northamptonshire Police are running a tremendously successful operation targeting those criminals involved in serious acquisitive crime such as burglary, car crime and robbery. The types of crime which are high in our area..

Attempted Car Theft 10th August 2009
At 11.25pm on 10th August 2009 two males were seen trying to steal a vehicle in Lower Adelaide Street.
They were disturbed by a Neighbourhood Watch member and ran off.
